The ratfucking goes on and on and on and on ....

The House committee investigating the Benghazi attacks is now the longest congressional investigation in history, committee Democrats announced today.

As of Monday, the House Select Committee on Benghazi, has been active for 72 weeks -- surpassing the record previously held by the Watergate Committee in the 1970's.

Democrats have accused the committee of focusing on former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton rather than the 2012 Benghazi attacks.

“The Benghazi Select Committee has now become one of the longest and least active congressional investigations in history,” Ranking Member Elijah Cummings, D-Maryland, wrote in a statement. “The Committee has squandered the last 16 months and more than 4.5 million taxpayer dollars dredging up political attacks to impact the 2016 presidential election -- a severe misuse of taxpayer funds and Congressional power."

What a colossal waste of time and money.

But as I say, when you can't compete in the arena of ideas...

Congress is working half the time they did in 1968 in regard to available committee time with members spending most of their time raising money for campaigns. I watched the committee investigating Planned Parenthood a little bit this morning. It was disgraceful. Each member trying to create an outrageous disrespectful sound bite to send back to their constituents, yet you had the feeling nobody was trying to improve with an alternative or fixing in problems in Planned Parenthood. Some idiots did not even realize that most of the federal funding which is suppose to go to Planned Parenthood is medicaid payments for services provided....it was hilarious watching some uninformed Congressmen get their heads around that concept. No, Hillary's emails amply demonstrate what is wrong with congress.

Now that was funny.

HRC could have made it a shorter process by being open and honest, but you can't expect that from a Dem or a Dem named Clinton.

Had this corrupt administration not have stonewalled and delayed in every way imaginable, it would have been over months ago.

Of course had they not stonewalled, Hillary Clinton and possibly semi-retired President Obama would already have been indicted.

I doubt that... but there's no excuse for any adminstration to obfuscate the rightful checks, balances, and accountability.

The issues over benghazi were likely incompetence, naivete, and lying after the fact right before an election.

No matter what... every american should want the govt to be responsive and transparent... or never expect it again.

Hillary is done. There's too much that has people actually thinking and donors withholding funds for her to run a significant campaign. I think it gets very serious and Obozo pardons her in the election cycle next year. It will bode badly for Democrats that a sitting POTUS has to cover for an incompetent SOS, but it will be done and Hillary's political career as well. She can fade off into Cankleland and Obama will have his legacy- saving Hilz from prison.

President Obama was dragging his feet and Hillary was obstructing?.....they did not even issue subpoenas until almost two years of a so called investigation.....why....they wanted to delay this to the elections. Now pace thinks the President is going to have to pardon Hillary......Pace hit those books hard in graduate school. I know you have innate intelligence, but damn man.......how do you jump completely off the reservation so easily?

Like it was said, there was much obfuscation and a delay in evidence coming to light after it was obvious she lied. She deserves what she gets. She is a liar of epic proportions

She didn't learn one thing from Watergate or Whitewater. That makes it clear she isn't qualified to be POTUS

After all these months of investigation, and all the millions spent on it, and all the time wasted, not one single prosecutable charge has been produced. No wonder Trump and Carson are winning. It's all political bullshit and America knows it. Anyone surprised by the American people expressing total disgust for the republican controlled congress?

Given: Everyone knows the government fucked up with protection of the consular staff at Benghazi. Nothing new there. The republicans want desperately to pretend to prove that the mistakes were on purpose. Ain't gonna happen because it didn't happen that way.

Reality.

And Huckabee, Santorum, Rubio, Cruz, Fiorina and the other 12,304 republican candidates ARE qualified? LOL

Is engaging in criminsl activity a prerequisite to be a Dem candidate? She surely isn't based in her nefarious behavior. She can't be trusted to do the right thing morally or ethically. I guess that's what you think qualities her. For the rest of America it is a "no-go."

And, the ratfucking goes on and on and on and on ....

Kevin McCarthy, a top Republican lawmaker on track to become the next speaker of the House, credited the Select Committee on Benghazi for damaging Clinton’s poll numbers — a surprising admission from a party that has sought to portray the investigation as even-handed and non-partisan.

“Let me give you one example,” McCarthy said, citing his conservative credentials during an appearance on Fox News with Sean Hannity Tuesday night. “Everybody thought Hillary Clinton was unbeatable, right? But we put together a Benghazi special committee, a select committee. What are her numbers today? Her numbers are dropping. Why? Because she’s untrustable. But no one would’ve known any of that had happened had we not fought and made that happen.”

It's only been this year that it was disclosed that hillary had the private server or that her emails have been disclosed.

At that... we've only seen a fraction... and they have clearly proved her corrupt and a liar.

I thought they were investigating Benghazi?

Not so much?

All of them belong to we the people... but the benghazi emails are still just coming out in the last few weeks.

You know this... and don't care because she is a dear leader of your party. Your opinion on this issue is pure shit.

Geez, ...

... Gowdy is really bad at his job.

But, this isn't about Benghazi.

It isn't even about emails.

It's about ratfucking a campaign with which the GOP could not compete in the arena of ideas.

You know that.
