Just minutes ago, the world was informed that a Select Committee investigation on Benghazi has finally been announced. This will bypass Barack Obama, Eric Holder, and will likely lead to the impeachment of Barack Obama and the end of Hillary Clinton’s career.

The only question is why this hadn’t been done sooner. Benghazi was a massive system of crimes, cover ups, and outright lies by the Obama administration. Their goal was to win an election in 2012… but the cost might be impeachment in 2015.

The email goes on to state that the U.S. government rejected the message of the Internet video. "We find it disgusting and reprehensible. But there is absolutely no justification at all for responding to this movie with violence," the email stated.

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said the documents read like a PR strategy, not an effort to provide the best available intelligence to the American people.

"The goal of the White House was to do one thing primarily, which was to make the president look good. Blame it on the video and not [the] president's policies," he said.

You really need to learn a bit about how our government works before spouting off in support of your Progressive comrades.

A SELECT COMMITTEE is far different than the standing committees which have been stonewalled by the White House and Justice Department. That is exactly what upsets you knowing that this scandal is going to explode.

Their eventual connection to President Richard Nixon's 1972 reelection campaign, and their conviction in January 1973, led the Senate in February to create the Select Committee on Presidential Campaign Activities—the Watergate Committee.

 Working under committee chairman Sam Ervin of North Carolina, Democratic chief counsel Sam Dash assured concerned Republicans that the panel would probe wrongdoing by members of both political parties. Its goal, he said, would be to make recommendations for the reform of election laws.

In spite of your statement of over 50 congressional hearings statement, NEVER has this email been released UNREDACTED. As you know it took a FOIA and a lawsuit by a private watchdog agency to release this email. It is the equivalent of the Watergate tapes.

Everybody on both sides of the aisle knows the Benghazi tragedy was a government fuck up. Nothing new about that.

Everybody also knows the republicans won't pass any opportunity to deride Obama because he's a democrat and because he's black.

Nobody expects an active administration NOT to spin things for their political benefit. Nobody.

This won't lead to impeachment ... it will simply waste time and prevent the government from functioning -- which has always been the goal of the republicans who consider party politics more important than serving the needs of our country.

I think the millions of Americans who are struggling with minimum wage jobs, but who have health insurance now, understand that the steady but SLOW recovery from the ill advised trickle down politics which began by giving tax cuts to the rich, need to have those people talking about something to distract ordinary people from how completely evil and harmful one party has become. As a Republican, I still see great work being done at the state and local levels with good traditional Republicans working for improvements in state and local government, but the Republican Party is broken at the national level and this clear attempt to set the foundational requisites for another Clinton type of Impeachment makes one wonder if they were not cognizant of what happen after that attempt. You cannot fix stupid, and unfortunately handicaps are not given in the stupid department.

Well my Nazi Robber Baron friend, what makes you suspect that any liberal is desperate over Benghazi? You simply fail to recognize facts when they don't agree with your narrow outlook. The Benghazi scandal is big on FOX and a minor event on CNN. It's a non event on MSNBC.

While you want to leap up and proclaim that this is because "the left owns the media," the truth is, most of America doesn't find Benghazi very interesting anymore. Hell, missing flight 270 in Malasia gets ten times the coverage. You're most likely right... congratulations. What should've happened was an immediate call by everyone to know the truth.

Anyone with any sense knew the youtube story was bs. That alone should've been a red flag that ended any partisan aspects.

But the truth is you and flatex and seagoat et al... don't give a god damn that you were lied to... because it was your team.
