Our founding fathers warned us of the arrogance of a standing army which exploits citizens, takes their residences, their supplies, and wealth to maintain the same. Today we have systematic expansion of statute books making everything illegal and collecting fines to support the current standing army......this is so much more than the racial baiting. It is the use of race which divides this country and allows poor people to be exploited and wealth transferred from average Americans to the wealthy.

This is the seed for real change in America. The criminal justice system cannot self fund like the Army of King George. A democracy cannot withstand the cannibalism of such an arrangement. The truth as I have argued for 10 years is that we need a 25% reduction in the criminal justice system. There will still be racist jokes, but the mechanism to perpetuate the stereotypes will finally be broken.
