Amusing too was the response from former speaker Nancy Pelosi. After her news conference she was asked what she thought about Barbara Boxer's retiring from Congress and Pelosi knew nothing about it.

Turns out, Boxer called Pelosi and Pelosi didn't take or return the call. Pelosi said she thought Boxer wanted to ask if she wanted to have dinner that night or "something".

I guess Pelosi only takes or returns calls, EVEN TO HER OWN PARTY MEMBERS, if she feels like it or if she is in the mood.
