He is taking us out of war. He will be reducing the military budget. He will be impacting the future of EVERY person in the military. If he is doing his job, he should not have 15% supporting him.....he needs to cut deeper.
Shameful that two Commanders in Chief would have such an obscene opinion of the men and women who voluntarily protect our country and make sacrifices many of us are unprepared to make.
If getting us out of war and cutting the military budget to invest in America is an obscene opinion.......please give me more.

Like former President William Jefferson loathed the military as does semi-retired President Obama.

EVEN YOU could get us out of a war by surrendering. No spine or courage required for such a thing.
Announcing the surrender date over a year in advance is also a strategy Gen. Eisenhower would have used too since you seem to adore him.

Even more shameful by far, would be a president who lied the nation into a war he never intended for us to win -- sending thousands of patriotic American volunteer patriot soldiers to their graves for nothing at all. That president should be remembered as a traitor to his country.
Besides, why should the President of the United States, or any of us for that matter, give a shit for whether our military likes or dislikes their commander? Their job is to do or die, not to pretend to reason why.
Reality

Refresh my memory......what was the goal in invading Iraq? You said we won. So we must have accomplished the goal. So tell us......what was the goal in invading Iraq?

As for your despicable comments about our military, that's a keeper. Can't get much deeper in the cesspool can you? That's a keeper.

Nice try. Your propaganda techniques are so sophomoric, they are comedic. Washington warned us.....Ike warned us, and now when civilians try to minimize a standing army and invest in America and our economy, you project rather clumsily that this effort equates with hate and venom. Nope, find some third graders which buy into that argument. Adults understand in a democracy that the civilians control the military, and the reduction of the same for the benefit of the nation is heroic when facing such vile bought and paid for shills of MIC.

Dubya and Cheney and Rice and Powell lied their socks off to gain support for invading Iraq. That's what has been proven, many many times in this forum.
As for the troops liking or disliking their commander in chief, why should anyone give a damn? If the troops had great political intellect, they wouldn't have volunteered for wars they were never meant to win.
Reality.
