Wow Mr. Markle.....you are one sick puppy.  You associate the need to torture people by the loss of American citizens.  It would help if some of those people who were tortured actually had something to do with that horror, or that the torture led to useful information to protect Americans......it was a tool which was unnecessary and had more to do with the total lack of preparedness of those who lost emotional control and in panic resorted to these awful violations of great American traditions and international law.  It was a disgrace.  For you to call anybody subhuman for not supporting torture is simply sick.  Perhaps if those panic stricken leaders had paid just a little more attention to the ample intelligence of the risks from Bin Laden, perhaps their over reaction torturing people and invading Iraq would see five trillion less debt and hundreds of thousands of innocent people alive today.  Evil is definable.

Nah,  those innocent folks died at the hands of religion obsessed lunatics.  Well actually it was motived by two things.  The insane religion is definitely one.  But it was also the ultimate blowback for 50 years worth of the American Empire screwing with those idiots.  We weren't the first imperial nation (not hardly).  Just the latest.  And there hasn't been an Empire yet that stood the test of time.

Cheney isn't some diabolical james bond villain.  Quite the contrary,  he's just another one of the government hacks who had been around the longest.  
In his case it really is exceptionally pathetic though.  He went from being somebody who got five different deferments to escape service himself,  to being the chickenhawk who talks the talk with a sneer on his face, but who never walked the walk.

The best part of that interview was at the very end though.  
I've seen that excerpt from the old filmed interview dozens of times.  The one where at the finish of the Gulf War when he explained ALL the good and valid reasons why deposing Saddam would be stupid.
But that's the first time I've ever seen anyone in the media confront him with it.
And his response was pathetic like he is. He stumbled around and actually had the cajones to try to make a connection between Saddam and Al Qaeda again.
