Atty. Bob McCulloch: African Americans Testified That Brown Charged Darren Wilson.

Prosecuting Attorney Bob McCulloch told reporters tonight that African Americans testified that Michael Brown charged Officer Darren Wilson.

“All of the, the ones that I mentioned specifically witnesses were all African Americans. The one who indicated that Brown came at him in a full charge. That Officer Wilson fired shots at him. He stopped and Officer Wilson stopped shooting. And then he started charging at him again, according to his testimony, Officer Wilson started firing again.”

I watched that farce of a press conference.

McCulloch was clearly acting as a defense attorney for Wilson, not a prosecutor.

In a just world, he would be disbarred and charged with legal malpractice.

Shame on America, and shame on the Americans who would celebrate this injustice as an opportunity to reassert their white privilege.

They will never admit they were wrong. They screamed racism with 5 minutes of hearing about the shooting, with no facts. In spite of evidence to the contrary, they will continue to say the same. I am sure these African American witnesses don'the matter for some reason. Rolling Eyes

If you really think McCulloch was sincerely trying to realize an indictment, you're an idiot.

Prosecutors intent on doing their jobs don't just present a Grand Jury with a grab-bag of charges from which to choose, and leave it to the jurors to sort it out.

Prosecutors intent on doing their jobs don't allow the target of the indictment to testify unchallenged to the Grand Jury for hours.

Prosecutors intent on doing their jobs don't selectively leak info to the press to prepare the public for failure to indict.

Prosecutors intent on doing their jobs don't hold press conferences where they publicly shame the grieving victim's family, criticize select eyewitnesses, and blame social media.

They say you can indict a ham sandwich, but the Grand Jury couldn't get there because McCulloch was acting as a defense attorney, and there was no prosecutor.

Sad.

Pathetic.

Anybody who has followed this case knows that it has been handled improperly from the get go. The police departments, the DA, the governor, etc created an atmosphere of absolute distrust. For those that believe that Wilson was justified, you should also be angry, because IF he is innocent, they did a complete disservice to him too.

The way this was handled is a national disgrace. Unfortunately, race cannot be separated from the issue. I wish it could. I wish the people in a position to control the outcome of events had done their jobs, like the governor, the DA, and the police chief. Justice has not been served.

B.S. You screamed racism 10 minutes after the incident occurred.

Racism is a given. Nobody has to scream about it. Injustice in this country based on race is a given. Nobody has to scream about it. However, one trial at a time will begin to peel back the layers of the onion. As I sat at the poker table last night and the big screen showed a fire started and swarming rioters the older gentleman in the 10 seat whispered that damn nigger got what he deserved..............I had a wonderful conversation with him prior to that talking about the Bulls game and how he felt Rose was done and too lazy to try to play basketball. When I took $1,300 from the folks at the table he was very gracious in his losses, and wished me a happy thanksgiving. I told him to drive safely......the roads have iced up, and so goes that evil which is a given, which nobody really wants to talk about in polite society......I watch and I observe, and I will be right......there will be a trial........Rose will have a great year for the Bulls, and another unarmed black or white kid will get shot by a scared officer.....black or white. However, when that officers makes that decision to use deadly force, I only want him to know HE WILL be held up to the reasonable man standard the Supreme Court has put down in black letter law.

Let me tell you about another cop I know who had to kill a civilian. This cop grew up in a rail box car off the Burlington Northern switching yard at a place then called Eola. His parents were Mexican seasonal workers and he was an anchor baby. He went on to play for the Chicago bears during the war years, became a cop and walked a beat after a couple years of playing pro ball. He was no taller than 5' 10" but he was one of the strongest men I ever knew. He got a call from the Elks club that a drunk was hitting people and was out of control. He responded. He approached him in uniform and asked him to come with him. The drunk took a swing striking him, and this officer struck the drunk in the head. He was dead when he hit the floor. No charges were filed, and that kid born in the box car went on to raise a family and rise to under sheriff. He saw his oldest son get his MBA at Northwestern and become one of the top people with Kraft foods, and his youngest son became the sheriff of the county. However, I was friends with his oldest son and he said his dad lived every day of his life thinking about that sad day in the fifties where he killed another human being in his official capacity. The difference between then and now was this man who walked the beat was neither afraid and was loved in the community because of his courage. He was the definition of an Andy. Today we face a world controlled by Barney. Fergy is a celebration of Barnie. We need Andy back in the house, and we need folks in law enforcement who can handle themselves both physically and mentally. Few here understand the pain of this officer in killing Brown. He will live that pain every day for the rest of his life, but maybe.........he should have never have been a law enforcement officer.

No assumption. Racism and the way young black males are handled by the criminal justice system only requires a person to have a brain and eyes. Injustice is the rule, and justice is the exception. This entire incident has been handled very badly. I think Sal said it best.....it is either incompetence or it is intentional. I do not need a guide dog to know which it is.

This is but the first step in an attempt not to have a trial. There will be a trial.

There are two things I dislike at a poker table......loud bad losers, and loud bad winners.   I keep the talk friendly and respectful.  When I am beat I congratulate a player for a hand well played, and when I win, I try to keep my mouth shut.   I learned even saying you are sorry when you beat aces with two pair...... threes and duces can result in the loser throwing their cards and storming off and yelling NEVER say you are sorry.

The white prosecutor who's cop father was killed by a black perpetrator, per-interrogated the witnesses and selected which of them went before the Grand Jury.
