As for those who did vote, the outcome suggests that many of those who voted were protesting against the policies of Obama and Washington DC that have destroyed their individual wealth, left them with wages that continue to fall, while their government demonstrates total dysfunction between the two wholly-owned political parties.  In an ironic sense, many of the republicans who were swept to victory, are the same folks who cheer big business and corporate domination.

Crazy is as crazy does.

Reality.

Like their ideological counterparts the racist Dixie Crats [Democrats who formed the KKK], the T-Partiers are radicals -- they exert tremendous influence over the mainstream republican party because of their numbers -- in simple terms, without their votes the republican's can't win elections.

It's becoming ever more clear lately, that with their votes the Republicans can't win elections either.

Once again, the basic problem for the republicans is to recognize that by appeasing the extremists of their party, they offend the majority of American voters.

The result, of course, are tactics which would, in effect, diminish the votes of minorities who would probably vote a democratic ticket. Unable to find a workable solution that would satisfy Dixiecrats [Democrats who formed the KKK], fundamentalist Christian evangelists, and T-party members, the republican party has no alternative but to manipulate via gerrymandering and voter restrictions.

Of course, none of those efforts will pay off ultimately, as the masses of the voting public recognize the republicans for what they are; a party of old white men.

Reality.

FAILURE...AGAIN.

Still do not get it. The house in the last 40 years when a two term president is in often going into the last midterm the party not in the White house gains an average of 29 seats in the house. This was a total failure with only 12 seats picked up. Nobody thought the house could be won back in 2016 if the average was hit, but this leaves a crack in the door where most believe it will be 2018 before the democrats take the house.

The Senate a year ago had 97% agreement that Republicans would have 53 seats. In the structural election they were exactly right. Take a deep breath, this is not what you or the media think it was. Nor will the structural wins by the Democrats in 2016 when they take the Senate back be what they will be spiking the ball about. If the predicted landslide of many in the Republican party had happened, they would have gotten the average 29 seats, and would have won four more senate seats. It did not happen. Take a deep breath. Nothing unexpected here except the low seat pick up in the house.

I already said this in another post. They will never get it.
