Reporters traveling with President Obama on Air Force One agreed to forego the daily gaggle with the White House Press Secretary in honor of Halloween -- and in exchange for "Death by Chocolate" cake from Gregg's Restaurant in Rhode Island.
Via the television pool report:
President came back as we were boarding the plane. He said it's Halloween, can we give Josh the day off? How about no gaggle and you all get some cake?
Wrote CBS News White House correspondent Mark Knoller, "Chocolate cake provides more to chew on than most press briefings."
