President Obama has emotionally checked out of his job a couple of years early, it seems. How can one tell?

Candidates for president who brazenly assume they are the inevitable victor are sometimes accused of “measuring the drapes” for the White House.

Obama, conversely, seems to be prematurely packing his bags in hopes for an early departure.

I doubt it.  Obama won with overwhelming black support.  They are  now (mostly) of the mind that he has done little to advance their "cause", and they are pissed!  Check some of the AA websites.  Obama is routinely trashed.

What jobs?  More people than ever in our history have given up looking.  Our last GDP was MINUS 2.9 PERCENT.

Money in the stock market.  By a circuitous route, you know well that this is where it is coming from making the rich richer and, as you know too, the middle class with even LESS income.  What a plan!

While there is improvement in most of what you cite, you realize that you are pointing to those people who are either in the middle class or above: stocks are not usually held by the lower class, many of them still have no job, and, if they are non-white and living in places such as Chicago, they fear for their lives.  

The OP's original statement seems to be that the president has "abdicated" his responsibilities to these folks, as well as the welfare of the country in regard to the escalations around the world.

And this is what Markle has been reduced to: The steady reposting of the same St. Louis Fed and labor participation rate charts.  He doesn't know why he posts them.  Hell, he doesn't even fully grasp what they show us.  All he knows is that, somehow, these two graphs support any completely asinine argument that he makes.  It's sad, really.

In Markle land, you can refute the fact that millions of private sector jobs have been added to the economy by producing a chart that shows the fed monetary base.  

What's that?  Consumer confidence just shattered economists expectations and the stock market closed at a new all time high?  Here.  Have a look at this chart that shows us the labor for participation rate.  I don't know why, but here.  Look at it.

Markle, you should take a page from Rick Scott's playbook and just admit that you are essentially ignorant with respect to all of this stuff. Rick Scott isn't a scientist, and you certainly aren't an economist.

THIS is a factual response. What part is unclear to you?

Would you like to see the one from the St. Louis Fed. again too?

After nearly SIX YEARS, surely SOME sort of recover HAS to take place at some point.
