I'm always amused at how they compare these teeny little countries with a small population to us. I suppose they don't realize it cost more to subsidized 300 million people over a few million. Maybe getting gov handouts all their lives has warped their sense of judgment.

Yeah, I guess we're all in the wrong for wanting a happier, more enthusiastic society -- with access to a good education affordable to all, with free healthcare, longer vacations, and a government which truly deals with making life better, instead of pandering to the ultra rich.  

My sense of judgement is fine, thank you.  Your Amerika is sinking fast -- we're now 39th in access to knowledge.  You spend a lot of time here telling us what's wrong with America -- but I haven't heard word one from you about what would make it better.  And please don't leap to the opportunity I just handed you to tell us how tort reform and interstate competitiveness in healthcare insurance sales will solve our problems.  That

You republicans promise to repeal the ACA as soon as you can.  Like all your promises, this one's also empty.  You have become the party of old white men and now you're going to take away healthcare from millions of Americans who are on Obamacare?  Hardly!

You want a happier more enthusiastic society huh?

let me give you a few tips.

First of all, happiness comes from within. It doesn't come from "stuff". True happiness comes from self respect and love. Love for others, Love for yourself and a Love for life.

Respecting yourself starts with being productive. Contributing from yourself to others. Be it work and or charity, preferably both. These things give value to your existence. Pride in your being.

We do moral damage to peoples self respect when we teach them "let gov" as socialism does. It is a false perspective that socialist teach that they are good in nature by way of forcing a redistribution of others work. That is not charity. It is thievery.

What happens to people's self respect when they are brainwashed into thinking they are owed, just for being alive something? They loose it, they become demoralized and the only hope they are left with is the hope that daddy gov will tend to them, because at this point they do not have the drive or self respect to think they themselves are sufficient to do for themselves. They have been trained to think they are being held down by someone else.

So if you really wanted true happiness, then you should know you need to mentor people, provide charity with the works of your own hands and monies. And set those people free so they can know the happiness of self reliance, self respect and honor.
