"With recreational pot now for sale in Colorado and widespread confusion over a recent satirical story that jokingly claimed 37 people had already died of a marijuana overdose, we figured it might be about time to update our weed death count.

So, here's a a GIF that still accurately shows all of the people who have died after overdosing on pot:

All the people who have died from a marijuana overdose Panda

Yeah, not a single person has ever died from a weed overdose. We don't have numbers on pandas, but we're guessing it's about the same. According to one frequently cited study, a marijuana smoker would have to consume 20,000 to 40,000 times the amount of THC in a joint in order to be at risk of dying..."

What's the common denominator? People. So what's the core problem in controlling them? There are too many of them.

We need to start really solving some problems here folks.

I'm hereby announcing my candidacy for potus in 2016... upon buying the office I will rename the permanent title:

EL SUPREMO PRESIDENTE..!!

This is an old article. I really was looking for the Hearst connection in the 30's...he didn't want the competition from hemp to his forestry interests, but apparently there was also a fear of immigrants...no doubt, since the country had just gone through alcohol prohibition and the Great Depression, with rampant crime as a consequence. Then the 60's...and Tricky Dick's pushback against the anti-war crowd...even though he completely lied about ending the war. And who can forget Ronnie Raygun and Miss Nancy's "Just Say No"...while he was extremely busy raping the economies of South and Central America to subsidize Iran's war with Iraq, among other atrocities. And at some point, marijuana busts became a cash cow for law "enforcement"...allowing police to seize assets of alleged offenders before they were even indicted.
