At one time I was seriously interested in remarkable photographs. Today they are something most anyone can do with a reasonable knowledge of Photoshop.

Cameras, which are not prohibitively expensive, can take a hundred or more photos of an action in a second. Then the user just goes through and picks the best one.

I can take photos of a property on a badly overcast day. Press a few buttons and it looks like the sun was shining and I can even direct what angle I want the sunshine shining on the subject.

As for Photoshop, they can take an average looking model and transform her into a dream.

That's my favorite also.

The grasshopper is sitting on two fiddleheads. The new sprouts of a fern as they come out of the ground.

There is even a movement, futile as it might be, to mandate all published photos which have been altered be so identified.
