Well now the customer has come forward and produced a credit card receipt which shows an $18 tip and says the lesbo is lying about the whole thing.

When I see somebody in a nun's outfit with dildos hanging off it, the last thing that comes to my mind is "gee, after seeing that I now think queers get a bad rap so I'm gonna vote to give them more rights". lol

I knew a girl that I went to school with who was gay. I used to hang out with her and some of her friends. Aint no way anything was going to happen between us. LOL Upside side was they had a lot of good Girl on girl porn...But alas, I was left to handle the job by myself. lol.......

Bob unfortunately, the receipt produced by the family does not prove anything at all. I have several receipts from restaurants that the tip amount is blank on my copy, but the merchants copy has has the tip amount. The $18.00 tip could have been added at a later date. The only real way to prove that the family is not lying would be to see copy of the statement where they paid $111.53 instead of $93.55. That receipt does not prove a dam thing.

I saw a news clip and the report did have the statement from the credit card company. It showed the total amount, date and place of the charge made, and it backed up the customer's story.

I am not surprised.  I believe that  the waitress had originally said that she didn't mention to the customers that she is a lesbian, but they still left her that nasty note.   It didn't make much sense.

But the husband and wife showed NBC 4 a copy of what appeared to be the same receipt – for the same amount at the same time on the same day – that showed them leaving an $18 tip on the $93.55 bill, including tax.
They also produced a credit card statement showing they had been billed for the full amount of the bill plus the tip.

I have not seen the credit card statement where they paid $111.53. What I was saying in my OP is that a restaurant will give you 2 copies of the receipt, one for the merchant and one customer copy. The numbers on the customer copy of the receipt could have been written on that receipt days later. If the customers produced a credit card statement showing they were billed $111.53 then I stand corrected.
