People are going to be running out of food at the end of this month. Five billion in cuts exceeds all the private donations.....as if these private institutions over night simply disappeared.

I want flexible and reasonable response to debt and excess spending. The banksters get 85 billion in guarantees and subsidy from the federal government, yet what reductions have been made in Bank subsidy. Why is hunger this bad in such a wealthy country. Where are our living wages which can allow working poor to survive. Our system is failing as 48 million Americans face hunger issues. Some want to destroy government, but fortunately good people will work to fix this mess. Cutting food for poor families while we subsidize banks with guarantees which exceed the entire food stamp program........

Only half the country is wealthy. The other half is poor and struggling and the wealthy want more from them while they give less.

Many of the poor are poor because they are too lazy to EARN what they are given by the govt.. Ask the next guy you see with a sign that says "will work for food" to do some work for you, even raking leaves in your yard.. They will have an excuse not to do it and stay at the same corner for months begging for food.. None of them look very hungry to me!!!!!
