Fleetwood Mac has canceled their Australian/New Zealand concert tour. This is because the dates would interfere with treatment of John McVie with has just been diagnosed with an unspecified cancer.
Get well soon, John.

She has already performed with them at least once that I know of.PBulldog2 wrote:That is indeed sad news about John McVie.
Ghost, we played Fleetwood Mac's "The Dance" concert video twice yesterday afternoon. Have you seen it? It's well worth the purchase price from Amazon.
I still tear up every time I see the college band taking the stage for "Tusk."
And Lindsey Buckingham.....need I say more?
EDIT: I read online just last night that Christine McVie agreed to perform at least one song at two of 2013 concerts. Supposedly this news came from Mick Fleetwood.
Christine has been a recluse in England, living in her farmhouse and tending to her garden and her dogs, since 1998.
Right! I couldn't recall the name of the marching band when I posted.Ghost Rider wrote:She has already performed with them at least once that I know of.PBulldog2 wrote:That is indeed sad news about John McVie.

BTW, "Tusk" was performed with the University of Southern California Marching Trojans.
