Nothing to be surprised about here. President Barack Hussein Obama's goal of inflicting as much pain as possible on American Citizens.

Park Ranger admits being told to make life as difficult for people as possible.

October 4, 2013

A federal Park Service Ranger admitted being ordered to make life as difficult as possible in order to make Americans feel the most pain as a result of the partial government shutdown brought about by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's refusal to work with Republicans on a plan to fund the government while not funding or delaying parts of Obamacare, the Washington Times reported Thursday.

“We’ve been told to make life as difficult for people as we can," an angry Park Ranger told the Times. "It’s disgusting.”

According to the Times, the Park Service has been shutting down streets "on mere whim and caprice."

I am sorry you have a disconnect. When you shut something down it usually is hard for people who depended on that thing being shut down. Ad hoc reporting of mid level supervisors who are not getting paid wanting to make it as hard on the public so they can get paid again is simply human nature, but your disconnect with reality is the idea that the President has anything to do with this circular logic. He has nothing to do with this shut down. Absolutely nothing. The house has shut it down, and mid level folks who are government employees all over this country are not getting paid and are as mad as hell.......human nature will think two wrongs make a right.

Seaoat is correct, to an extent. And Mr. Markle is lying, again.  All informed people realize that it is the Republicans who planned and then executed this hostage-holding of the entire country for their temper-tantrum.  The House Republicans alone are responsible for the parks closing. The President over and over has tried to cross the aisle to compromise only to be kicked in the face over and over again. Seaoat is just trying to be nice when he says that Mr. Markle suffers from a disconnect.  I do not believe Mr. Markle is disconnected. I believe he is an angry bigot who just cannot stand that a black man is POTUS.  It still just blows Mr. Markle's closed mind that this great country elected a black man as President. So it is his purpose to defame and denigrate any and all actions of that evil black guy.

The very reason President Barack Hussein Obama saw to it that the pain was felt by as many citizens as possible when the miniscule Sequester went into effect.

I would believe what you typed, if it were true.  When Dick and Dubya ran this country, along with the world economy, into the shitter, where was the blame of the POTUS, then?

It was the Republicans who planned and then executed this govt shutdown.  In this case, the Republicans are totally responsible. Obama over and over has tried to cross the aisle to compromise only to be punched in the face over and over, again. Only now that the black guy is President does the 'captain the blame for the sinking ship.'
So sad for conservatives that the entire country does not suffer from selective memory loss.

Please review your history as to when the Great Recession started.  It started months before Obama was sworn in. The economy crashed, banks stopped lending, and people started losing their jobs way before Obama took office. Sorry about your confusion.

Jake, please get a hold of yourself. When, ever, have the Republicans in the 112th or 113th Congresses worked with and compromised with the Democrat President?? Obama has tried over and over again to cross the aisle and compromise with the Republicans only to get kicked in the groin over and over again. The President learned, and probably stopped trying. Most Americans, including myself, do not place the blame on Obama.  Most Americans blame the House Republicans, and rightfully so.

The Republicans have been the epitome of obstructionism ever since the black guy was elected.  The tea baggers think 'compromise' is a dirty word, after all.
The Congress has never been so polarized thanks to the tea party voters who put the incompetents in power.  Look how well they have done. Five percent approval rating and all. Hell, the President's numbers are still in the upper thirties. LOL

Correct Pkrbum, it was the 2006 elections..  My mistake.  Everything since then has been the result of the dems NOT cooperating with Bush for his last 2 years in office and fighting everything the repubs have tried since then..  
I am NOT saying everything is the dems fault, but they have blamed Bush for everything wrong for the last 13 years..

And, as you well know, many of the same actions being taken by President Barack Hussein Obama were taken by FDR which extended the Great Recession by SEVEN YEARS.
