Wonder what they'll do with the already thousands upon thousands of people who have tattoos below the elbows and knees.

Ah! That's good. Sorry, I didn't read it. Should have.

But you know now that this has been announced but not yet implemented...there are going to be soldiers who run out and get their tattoos before they're banned.   I don't think the Army should announce it ahead of time.

It might stop some from doing something they're regret in later years.

I saw a small piece on TV where some city is considering requiring a 24 hour cool off period. I think that greatly infringes on the right of the business owner to do business. I might not be opposed to a 25 age limit. Give some folks a glimpse of the real world before they render themselves unemployable. That would go over like a lead balloon.

A cooling off period--yes, I think that would really put a damper on the business.

But a waiting period for younger folks, I would like to see that.  Also, tattoo artists shouldn't work on anyone who's obviously drunk or high.

Tattoo artists often refuse drunk people because alcohol thins blood and makes the process more messy

This sounds crazy but I like this one.  Cyclist are ways getting a mark from their chaining on the inside of their legs.   Might be cool if done right

On a hairy man's leg....go for it!
I have said before that I hate tattoos.  I especially hate them on women.

When my son joined the Army he went to Fort Bliss with the 101st Airborne. Lot of the troops had a lot of wild tats all over them. I was really worried he would get carried away and get some but he did not.
But my daughter has a Butterfly on her ankle. LOL Go figure...

That bike chain tattoo would actually be cool hallmark... and I don't really like tattoos usually.

I only like the tattoos on Keith Urban. In fact, I would like to see more of his tattoos up close.Embarassed Embarassed

I hate to imagine what some of those "sexy" tramp stamps, on a shapely 22 year old co-ed is going to look like when she 72.

I dated a woman for a while who had a couple of tattoos. The most amusing one was a stick figure of about a 2" man pushing a reel lawnmower with the "grass clippings" flying up from the mower. It was very...strategically placed.

I don't care for them myself. I seldom seen one on women I like except for like you a small butterfly or hummingbird, a small flower or something.

There's one of those "reality" shows about a shop in Las Vegas where the owner repairs botched tattoos.  Some were really bad.  One woman had a motto of "No Regrets".  She broke up with a guy she had been seeing for several years and had that put on the outside of her thigh in about 2" letters.  Problem was it was spelled "No Regerts".
