Yep only a low voltage switch prevented the detonation while 3 of the other fail safes failed.

@Dreams: The fallout would have covered Maryland, Washington(nothing lost there), Philadelphia and New York. I sorta take exception to the people of South Carolina. My sister and her family live in the Greenville area. She is an attorney, her son in also an attorney and her daughter is a dentist. So everyone in SC are not ignorant.
