You're right! The taxes received from the insurance policies are supposed to make this program self-sufficient. Therefore Congress doesn't need to appropriate any money from other areas... just like the Obamacare promoters promised when they said this program wouldn't cost the tax payer a dime.

Second: The program in which p-dog, quite gleeful in his elation, is lying about is the program that will help get all Americans to see a doctor on a regular basis to live healthier lives and therefore reduce future healthcare costs. The program will stop us from having to give away free healthcare.
So see, the frighty rightie wants to increase healthcare costs, and he wants to keep giving away free healthcare even though it is a full one-fifth of our entire economy.
Where is the logic and reason? Missing from the fact-flinging p-dog.
Sad, and pathetic.
"The black guy in the white house makes them so crazy they forget they are conservative. They 'black-tracked' yet again!
Ain't very smart there are you PD? This thing got by in the House but it stands no chance in hell of getting by in the Senate. If by chance it does, then Obama's veto pen is waiting on it and it surely would not be veto proof. Wishful thinking on your part. Now don't get me wrong, I wish it would get defunded also, but I damn sure ain't gonna hold my breath.PACEDOG#1 wrote:Lololo lolo

You just don't live in the real world, do you? Were you conscious after the last election or what?Chrissy wrote:This is just for show.
The majority of people are against obamamacare.
What are they going to defund anyway? The payments to the insurance companies for the services to those who sign up? everything else is cuts and large oversight committees. well they could defund the oversight committees. I guess they could also defund the people who are paid to sign people up but I think that money has already went out.
Its too much to do in a whole like this. I am sure this is just for public view only.
all this talk about how the republicans are a dying breed needs to be taken with a grain of salt. as 2014 rolls around I think there is a chance of a real take over of the senate as well.
I was right all along, you don't know shit about it or insurance.Chrissy wrote:This is just for show.

I do not think that anybody on this forum(with the exception of a couple of certain folks) is denying that this shit piece of legislation should be placed in the shredder. I have even heard some liberal democrats say that they would like to see it go by the wayside. Congress no longer works for the people. All anyone of them care about is the big money.PACEDOG#1 wrote:Over half of America wants this boondoggle gone. You call it "irrational behavior" for the GOP trying to stop something over half of the country doesn't like or want? I guess you're entitled to your opinion no matter which way you lean.knothead wrote:It will never reach his desk but, instead, die in the Senate . . . . . a political show that will damage our nation and lay the full responsibility of its consequences at the feet of the GOP. Their contempt for the POTUS has driven them over the edge . . . . a point where they are threatening to shut down our government to inflict damage to a President that will not yield to their irrational behavior.PACEDOG#1 wrote:And if odumba vetoes it he shuts down government
So wrong as usual. Half the country wants it. Yeah! Bring it on baby!PACEDOG#1 wrote:Knotheas the only irrational ones were the Dems who shoved through a 2000+ page bill into a law and had NO clue what was in the legislation. Now that we know what's in it, nobody wants it. That includes many in your own party.
I know you're just needling to some degree... but I do find it sad that american citizens approve of the govt takeover.Dreamsglore wrote:So wrong as usual. Half the country wants it. Yeah!
