Consider: Try to picture several hundred thousand demonstrators trying to assemble and protest against the government in a non-violent manner, on any square or city park in America. Your just having a dream. Before 10% of those folks get together the police will declare the protest an illegal assembly, out come the "crowd control" ninjas, tear gas, rubber bullets, armored cars, etc. etc. etc. And everyone being photographed by "law enforcemnt cameas -- including those in drones. And the cops, backed up by "emergency forces" including ATF, and maybe even the National Guard will have days to prepare, because assembling a crowd requires communication of one sort or another -- and all our communication is being monitored, for the purposes of "national security."

Welcome to Berlin, 1933.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't about twenty people get killed and several hundred more get injured in that protest?

Thomas Paine once reminded the Framers that the highest duty of a patriot is to protect his countrymen from their government.
