Best comment:
It is necessary to have external enemies to distract people from resisting the machinations of internal enemies.

Worst comment:
Freedom.
Every American solider knows the enemy is less free than he is, and that by fighting him he is advancing freedom everywhere. Also he is expanding American power, which is always a good thing, since we are the greatest country on earth.

About the part in bold. When I first read it I was thinking this is the most brilliant observation ever made yet.
But then it hit me that it aint sarcasm. That it's just another person who sincerely believes something like that.
And in about 5 seconds it went from the most brilliant observation I've ever read to the most scary one.

Don't do this to my head, teo. lol

It makes perfect sense that the perfect American soldier is someone who believes his murdering in someone else's country, as ordered by the American government, is a good thing.

Unfortunately, it's also the reason the suicide rate of American war veterans is steadily accelerating.

Reality.

I have to say this, wordslinger. My stereotype of Pace was just shattered by the revelation that you live there as well.
This is like finding out that Bernie Sanders lives in Chumuckla.

As our soldiers invade another country they yell,
"Kill em all and let God sort 'em out!"
