Started in Jacksonville, FL and I helped drive my brother, sister-in-law and their teenage grandson to a town west of Spokane, WA. With 3 Husky dogs and one dog that is half Husky and half Wolf. "Man Alive" took on a whole new meaning. Loved every minute of it (NOT), but wouldn't give it up for the world.

We thought this was a tornado on the ground in North West Texas. The moving van was really rocking back and forth.Shocked

We were traveling North West and tornados usually travel North East. This was the end of the storm. It was spooky.

To get to my brother's house you start at 1100 feet and drive switch back roads to get down to the valley. The air was fresh, dry and sweet. It was just breath taking.

It looks like a lake, but that water is part of the Columbia River

This is the view from my brother's front porch.

I used PhotoShop to merge 4 separate wide angle photos.

Our family did a similar drive in 1992. Spokane to Naples and back. Best trip we ever took, and we've traveled a little overseas.
Every American should drive across our country at least once. So much to see. So beautiful.
