LONDON (AP) -- Former BBC broadcaster Stuart Hall has been jailed for 15 months after he pleaded guilty to 14 counts of indecent assault against girls as young as 9.
The 83-year-old Hall had initially denied the charges. The prison sentence was handed down Monday, six weeks after he admitted responsibility for the crimes.
The offenses happened between 1967 and 1986. Prosecutors said Hall was an opportunistic predator.
BBC said after his admission of guilt that it was "appalled" and would no longer employ him.
Assholes ...he rapes little girls and only gets 15 months in jail ! and they won't take him back on the job ! He should be hung by the neck till dead...I think the whole damn system in England are pedophiles from the Queen on down....
