What would you know about it? You're so stupid you've lost 1/4 of a million dollars building in areas prone to floods.

Yep, those of us not on the government teat build things and add to the GDP, and we win some and we lose some, and those same properties with water access are the most valuable properties we currently own, but I could have signed up for the military if I had no options.......and found a snuggly warm government teat where incompetence, lack of intelligence, and blunders never lose......they always get rewarded with another government check......not in the real world......not among those who build this country and were not government teat suckers......they get knocked down building America, and they get back up.......teat suckers.......they just keep sucking.

Two folks living their complete life on government checks......safe and cozy from achieving or failing.......no wonder both of you are so bitter.....you have never lived independent of the government teat.........a couple of Uncle Sam's momma boyzs. Just like our fake purple heart winner....your sense of entitlement is only matched by your ignorance how America was built.....it was not built by government teat suckers.

I have had a lot of dealings with the VA over the past several years, and of course, my husband is the reason. I am appalled that the legislation that was supposed to help the VA solve problems with wait times has opened the door to a private "scheduler" for treatment in the private sector. The law was written so that the agency itself couldn't possibly meet a 90-day implementation deadline, so the VA has now hired a private outside firm. I have received multiple calls from these people, but I wonder about confidentiality...they want personal information that may violate HIPPA. They want a separate authorization for me and a separate disclosure agreement. Nothing came from the VA to indicate that this third party would be included in the process. My husband does need continuing care outside the VA, but I don't believe this is the way to handle it. (This company, based in Phoenix, has handled VA business in the past, mostly in the Midwestern states, but there were problems with late payments and some kind of breach of their records). At times, it feels like some people at the VA are trying to sabotage the health program and increase privatization of services.

From what I've seen FT privatization may be a good thing. Quality of treatment may improve and access to more specialists.

Poor Seaoat, somewhere along the way he was severely abused by a person in the military.

There should be an entirely separate system for govt backed healthcare. Then we can compare them.

The American military made it to where you could have the freedom to build stupidly and lose 1/4 of a million dollars. BTW,
The insurance you have for your waterfront properties is subsidized by the taxpayer, So welcome to the teat sucking club. And a Purple Heart must be something you really want to mention it in your tirade. I'll buy you one at
The flea market if it will make you feel better. It's overrated though. I'm glad I never got one.

I'm going to be starting my VA process soon. It ought to be interesting with a medical record six inches thick and a CD to go along with those records as well.

I'm glad you're going to have some government cheese to go with your whine.

Enjoy the Hillary Clinton administration.

I'm sure she'll make sure you're taken care of well.

Yet you think those generational welfare folks receiving checks, living in subsidized housing, using food stamps and yakking on free cell phones for doing absolutely nothing are deserving. What a hypocrite...... Grow up.

he insurance you have for your waterfront properties is subsidized by the taxpayer,

I will type this slowly.......I cannot buy flood insurance because business equipment and non structures like bridges, roads, and non structures are not covered by flood insurance. I have no insurance which is subsidized because there is no such insurance to cover non structures. I have never had an interaction with a person on active duty, and my friends who served in the military and were honored with high rank and medals went on to become productive American citizens in the private sector where they actually were adding to the American GDP.

Yet you think those generational welfare folks receiving checks, living in subsidized housing, using food stamps and yakking on free cell phones for doing absolutely nothing are deserving. What a hypocrite...... Grow up.

I see little difference between teat suckers, and certainly the distinction has tried to be made honoring any schmuck who serves in the military as being entitled to a lifetime of medical care and government welfare, so tell me what the difference is between the two classes of teat suckers.......they both do not produce one thing in regard to the GDP, they create debt and put this nations real security at risk, and in regard to one group we create this illusion that somehow they are helping the nation. Since 1973 there has been no military engagement with an enemy which threatened the United States, rather a welfare program for MIC to make unlimited profits as anybody who questions this corporate welfare, and welfare to folks for almost fifty years sucking on the government teat, as ultra expensive weapon systems send America to the poor house.......so tell me what the difference is between a F.U. in high school who goes on the government teat........which person is productive......the food stamp folks, or the person with no options who skates for four years and has a lifetime on the government teat......we just get outraged with this one guy who took advantage of the system, when the whole system is rigged.

And just where did they acquire the necessary skills to manage people and businesses? In the military Jabroni.

It's perfectly clear you are clueless about how the military retirement system works, one does not receive retirement unless they serve 20 years.

Your uninformed verbosity is only exceeded by your bitter view of reality. let me educate you a little, over 30 million people in the U.S. do not have a high school diploma. You must have a high school diploma to enlist in the military. In some cases a GED may suffice.

I assume of course you will decline Medicare and Social Security, right? After all you don't want to be considered as one who sucks at the government teat do you?

Unbelievable.

I am meeting with my insurance company to see if I can continue on their plan and not enroll in Medicare in December. It will cost us about a thousand a month more to continue on the group insurance plan, but Medicare will not pay for one of my shots, so we will pay our group insurance premium if allowed until I die. In regard to somebody who joined the military and had three years of service, he now has a life time of medical care at the VA, yet the kid who sat in the desk next to him in school had a hearing aid, and could not join, but struggles with his medical bills while the person who peeled potatoes for three years is on the government teat for life. We have created a monster which cannot be changed because the person who proposes to make the necessary change gets voted out as they are considered anti veteran, but the issue should be how to lower the number of veterans by at least 25%. Hillary Clinton has a staged medicare for all down to age 50-55 initially, and this process should continue until it goes to every child who is born in this country. At that point, the entire VA system is redundant and those cost can be applied to the expanded Medicare system. We need to demilitarize and eliminate our standing army or make it bare bones and defensive. This idea that bases are real economic development, or sucking on a teat while producing nothing toward GDP is and warped sense of entitlement which is no different than the multigenerational food stamps and subsidized housing........sorry nothing personal, but the military illusion needs to be popped and America needs to go lean and prepared to defend this nation.

Take your time.....please show where I said something different than the above.
