I never like any of these crazy big beach houses I see.  Just too much, too big.  And I don't like the style of most of them.

There is probably a large recreation room with wet bar, another off the pool area, one in the office, one near the living and dining rooms, one out by the tennis courts.

That explains it.

And by doing so look at all the jobs they create and how they lower the price of that HDTV 6' flat screen that was $25,000 some years ago.

Bob, the house on Deer Point is owned by Will Mullet. The house is phenomenal....but it looks more like an office building.

You're right Markle and they can build whatever house they want with their money. It's just not for me even if I could afford it.  I think they're just missing the whole point of living on a piece of land like that.

Who is Will Mullet?

Chairman and founder of Wayne-Dalton garage doors. That looks like the house Benson the owner of N.O. Saints built but sold and never moved in.  Don't know what zillow listed for Levin, but he supposedly sold that not too long after Ivan and he lives in Pensacola, what I've heard.

If you can ever get into Peake's Point for an estate go just to see those homes. While they were selling lots and had very few homes up there you could drive and walk around in there, once developed there is a gate and no one except owner's go thru or google the area and zoom in to some of those.

The home directly on the tip of Peake's Point belongs to Justin Mullet....Will's ex-wife.

Wasn't one of is ex's a doctor and didn't they have that home burn to the ground out on the beach many years ago?

I have seen that house at peake's pt but only from google.

Yes, his previous wife was a physician and the house that burned was located in Sugar Bowl.

I believe one of those homes belongs to Stanley Levin's widow and I don't know the other two.

Allen Levin built the first one and I believe  AL Terhaar and
James  Cronley may have built there...they were the developers.

Yes that house now belongs to Jacque Falzone.  But it got known by being Fred Levin's crib.

Yes Levin moved back to Bayou Texar about a block from where he lived before he moved to Gulf Breeze.
His current 5,000 square foot home is valued about $700,000 by Zillow.

The Laura Lane home is owned by Ann Falbeau who I believe is in the family which involves Crown Laundry.

When I started reading this thread I couldn't help but notice your references to '[i]beach[i]' houses. These are not beach houses Neko, they are houses located on water front property and the use of the term 'beach houses' in this area are a direct reference to P'cola Bch houses. correct?

Speaking of beachhouses,  according to Zillow this is the most valuable home on Pensacola Beach.

By the way,  if anyone else can point to other uber-priced houses in our area I'd like to learn about them.

By far the most valuable one belongs to Levin's widow...

One of the other two belongs to Jim Cronley.

Who owned Wharf Ave before it was developed? That property was vacant like forever. Kind of a odd place to build homes, Imagine looking out your kitchen window & saying, "oh (3) mile bridge is so beautiful this morning".

Muscogee Wharf was owned by the L&N Railroad in the past. I don't know if the railroad sold the property or there was an interim owner.

That's right it was Allen not Stanley.
