Sure looks like this massive scandal is only getting bigger. Coming soon...subpoenas, testimony, conflicting testimony then perjury trials. Why not? It's the Chicago Way!

Washington launches four different investigations into IRS scandal

10:14 PM 05/27/2013

Capitol Hill aides spent their Memorial Day weekend scanning hundreds of pages of documents related to the IRS scandal in order to prepare their bosses for what will inevitably be a frantic month of June involving multiple simultaneous investigations into government wrongdoing. By the time lawmakers return to session next week, at least four different investigations will be underway.

As The Daily Caller has reported, at least five different IRS offices including Cincinnati, Ohio; Baltimore, Maryland; Chicago, Illinois and El Monte and Laguna Niguel, California improperly targeted conservative nonprofit groups for extra scrutiny between 2010 and 2012.

The IRS’ shenanigans, chronicled in a damning report by Treasury Inspector General J. Russell George, started when a “team of [IRS] specialists” came together in April 2010 to process the tax-exempt nonprofit status of conservative groups that might be “potential political operations” (page 13 of the IG report). The IRS added “additional specialists” to this effort in December 2011.

Scandal(s)....what scandal(s)?.....Now the AG recalls signing off on some of the warrants but can't remember which one(s)....His testimony was he didn't know how signed off on the warrants....ooops...Very similar to his untruthful testimony on Fast and Furious....When the lamestream media starts questioning his ability to continue as AG...it's not good....

NEWS FLASH !!!

It is the IRS's job to investigate groups that apply for tax-exempt status to determine if granting such status is warranted.

Is this confusing to you in some way?

God looks after the simple ...

Yes it is confusing. If the IRS was doing nothing wrong, and everything is on the up and up, they were and are treating everyone fairly, why did Lois Lerner, director of the IRS’ exempt organizations unit, plead the Fifth Amendment?

I already knew it but I'm glad you know you are being looked after. You didn't have to tell us though, He looks after everyone.

You're right the IRS has not done anything that hasn't been done under any other President, so if the GD teabagger's would let it go and get down to business and work with the other two parties within our govt maybe something would get done in D.C. Yep, 3 parties in washington, teabagger's, republicans and democrats. It will be a bloodbath come election time for some of these teabagger's.

The damn 2 parties cuss at each other and argue in public, then kiss each other and get richer and richer while they both blame the tea party for all of the problems.. Their ever growing bank books are growing bigger and bigger and the stupid voters are too blind to see it or too stupid to vote every one of them out..

A few of your friends have tried advertising here for a partner, maybe you should just correspond with them by PM? Just saying....

President Barack Hussein Obama is just getting snowed under with scandals isn't he?

We've got Benghazi, nine months and still no answers, maybe the most serious, then the IRS, certainly right up there with the strength to bring down this administration and getting bigger by the day. Fast and Furious...nine months, then there is the Justice Department seizing telephone records of news agencies, the EPA could be next...or who else?
