Oh don't get me wrong, I still think muslims are the scum of the earth.
But muslims are not nearly as vile as two other groups. Those being republicans and democrats.

I can predict where it all goes from here, teo.
After Obama's nothing administration, we will have a fucking republican in the white house. And he will fuck up just like Bush did.

How do you tell the two parties apart? I really see very little difference in results. I know one side wants the govt to force collectivism... and the other wants the govt to force their invisible friends morals... but it's all authoritarianism to me. The govt grows in size and scope... one side offers a govt solution and then the other side adopts it... we the people keep losing liberties for some perceived security crisis after crisis. None of this is new btw... the whole scenario has been played out over and over through history. We were supposed to be trying something different here... but the same play on human fears perverted it dispite the warnings of our founders... gawd we're dumb.

You can choose not to vote at all or vote for one of the minor party candidates and effectively throw your vote away.

It's your choice.

I'd like to vote for one of the minor party candidates, but after seeing what happened when Nader ran as the Green Party candidate in 2000, I don't dare risk it.

I'm proposing the following Constitutional Amendment.

The election of President and Congress will be conducted as follows.

1. A signature drive will begin 9 months prior to the the general election. That signature drive will be open to everyone who meets the qualifications to hold the elected office.

2. Each candidate participating in the signature drive will be permitted to accept campaign donations of up to $100 from individuals only. There will be no corporate donations.

3. The candidates in the signature drive will be permitted to affiliate themselves with a political party. And a maximum of an additional $100 per individual may be donated to a political party. There will be no corporate donations to political parties.

4. The signature drive will end in 4.5 months and the six candidates with the most signatures will go on the general election ballot.

5. The general election campaign will commence. The candidates for the general election will again be permitted to accept a maximum of $100 in donations from individuals. No corporate donations. And again a maximum of $100 per individual may be donated to a political party.

6. All the print and electronic media in the jurisdiction of the given election will be required to deliver equal space/time to each candidate. This may include interviews and debates.
