The arrested landdings will come this summer. They have already done arrested landings on land:



Let's hope the unmanned combat aircraft program goes better than recent procurements. I think it is an awesome concept.

There will always be a need for manned aircraft at this point in time. There are too many decisions that have to be made at critical aspects of an engagement. This is especially critical in CSAR where someone HAS to make it to the ground and get the aircrew out of hostile areas.
