The proposition that spending trillions more over the last two decades to beef up our criminal justice system, and a common store video and the public solved this......yet exactly what is the purpose of three blocks of cars.....and thousands of officers standing around......we really need to have some soul searching and budget talks about how insanely large our criminal justice system has become.

It was the news media who found the uncle.......law enforcement should have been talking to him a day ago......but the absurdity of this response in Boston forcing every citizen to be confined to their home with one known suspect......we have some very serious issues to deal with, and jerk knee reaction that to discuss this is anti LEO, must stop........we need to realize this country has a standing army....the very thing our founding fathers pledged would never happen in this country.

A single 19 year old is shutting down an entire major city in the US, and all the kings men cannot put humpty dumpty back together.........it is very frustrating to see our budget choices, and a store security video and the public seem to have solved this crime......also.....why the delay in release of this video.

These are TERRORISTS, not someone who robbed a filling station. The bombs they set worked. How many more did they have and where? During the course of a robbery they killed a police officer doing his duty. During the chase, they were throwing pipe bombs and hand made hand grenades.

Obviously they were not acting alone.

The mission ended successfully. What if they had done what you whine about and used 1/10th of the men and the Terrorist had killed someone else or escaped? You'd have whined about that too. Going to war, and this was a war battle, or going into a fight, you show overwhelming force so the opponent sees they don't have a slim chance in heck.

The last I heard, a few hours back, he had NOT been read his Miranda Right and will soon, hopefully, be on a plane to GITMO.

Are you really that uninformed? He is an American Citizen who committed a crime on American soil. The public safety exception to Miranda rights does not equal a one way ticket to Git Mo..........and what you consider whining is simple facts......a large metropolitan city was put under house arrest because pressure cooker bombs were placed....two. Do you have any idea how our response was being watched by the world? Do you think putting an entire metropolitan area under house arrest was necessary? Do you think releasing those photos a day earlier mattered? Do you think the investigation found these two, or do you think it was a response to a murder and execution of a campus policeman? Do you think with the thousands of law enforcement that they could have captured both suspects? Do you think they could have set a realistic perimeter and instead of a 1000 people standing around........actually had searched that backyard? What you call whining are simple facts. This thing was handled wonderfully by the public. The governmental response which was drawing cheers was anything but stellar, and when you lock down an entire metropolitian area of a major American city you have given the road map for future terrorist.......so please pass the cheese, and I will take a glass of silver Oak please............

All non combatants were told to shelter in place and not venture out of their houses....after all there was an entire terrorist division in town...he disobeyed the Gestapo and went outside...
