I was driving down a country highway in AL. Came to top of this huge hill and saw a local deputy sitting down at the bottom on the side of road facing me. Oh crap! I braked, slowed down, passed him, looked back and saw him flip his light on & make a u turn! I went ahead and pulled over & waited lol.

He asked me how fast I was going? I said 65.

Do you know what the speed limit here is? Yes, 55.

Why were you speeding? Well, I'm in a rush to get to "DEER CAMP", we have work to do.

HE SAYS to me: If I write you a "warning" ticket, will you slow down?

Yes sir and I promise I WILL NOT violate the speed limit on THIS highway the rest of the day!

We finally got the AL Power to install a meter at the barn we have. We turned part of the barn into a small living area. We fought tooth and nail to get the power co to install a meter! A neighbor's Mobile home 100 yds away has power, but they didnt want to hook us up. Weird.

Honest the county here told me if I put a kitchen in my barn it would count as a house and they would give me power to it...I asked what about a bathroom or a bedroom ? They said no only a kitchen is required to make it a residence..Who Knew ?
