Everybody should have seen this coming for a long time.. The MIC has been bleeding the taxpayers dry for years.. 53% of your taxes go to them..
Doesn't that piss you off? We can take care of business with a SEAL Team or a drone, get their leaders.. there's No reason to spend tons of money on bombs killin innocent civilians in war crimes like Shock-n-Awe..

Bingo.....but the problem now.....how do you shed 40% of your military spending in the next five to ten years without horrible state and local economic dislocation? I do not have the answer, but it is going to get ugly in the panhandle.

They might start with joint-service flight training and a drastic whittling of what goes on at NAS Whiting field. They will start with ending Navy helicopter training and conducting joint helo training up in Dothan at Fort Rucker. That threat has been there for more than 30 years.

There is a lot of room for consolidation in every state--previous BRAC initiatives were mostly just pin-pricks. The only thing holding much of it up are Congressional interference and the fear of losing DOD jobs from districts.

We can start with rebuilding America.. There's plenty of work that needs to be done here but we're too busy giving our tax dollars to other countries..

Who...?

The locals who have been nothing but hostile to the fedrul gubmint since they hung that last n***** in Jay...?

Folk like you who actually entertain the idea of hostile overthrow of the government...?

The dominant paradigm in the Panhandle...right winghuts, neo-cons, and GOB's....who openly express their hatred for the "cowh"....?

So go for it. Tell us who is to blame for our sad singing and slow walking.

If anything, it comes here Zvug. All services except the Army happen to train at Whiting Field. The Army can move here.
