Double standard?

Another example....two police officers sat by the first lady at the 2010 SOTU Speech...the two were credited with stopping the shootings at Ft. Hood, Texas...The female officer went on record yesterday that the cowh and his administration has done a horrible job in dealing with the victims of this massacre..She added that the victims have been neglected and denied medical assistance simply because the cowh/administration has catagorized this attack as...violence in the workplace rather than a domestic terrorist attack even though the POS responsible had ties to terrorists and supported terrorists...For some reason this administration has a history of political correctness in not wanting to call terrrorist attacks...terrorist attacks...There was so much outrage because so many citizens were uninsured for healthcare and yet those that suffered and heroes that confronted evil are neglected...Well at least the cowh got a photo op out of the deal...

He failed to mention the 450 school-aged children shot in Chicago during 2012....was it a massacre? No, it was an everyday occurrence involving drugs and gang violence. It's not an "attention" getter that is politically useful to his agenda.

Correct!...And instead of going after legally owned firearms and law abiding citizens that own them....Start with the THUGS and criminal elements in his own backyard that have illegal firearms and are criminals...

That's simply not true.

He specifically pointed to the tragic death of the young girl who sang at his inauguration and a week later was gunned down on the streets of Chicago less than a mile from his home.

For gawd's sake, her parents were sitting with Michelle.

And in every speech he's given on gun violence, he has made a point of mentioning the carnage occurring on the streets of many of our urban centers including Chicago, Philadelphia, Detroit, etc.

Y'all really didn't watch the speech, didja?

Tell the truth ...

Yes he did, BUT I was referring to the 450 children in 2012, not just the one child that sang at the inauguration......

like I said they were the casualties of on-going violence caused by drugs and gangs and did not fit his political agenda. Those shootings were not caused by law abiding gun owners.

You really have blinders, dont' ja?

You're just wrong.

He has made a point of tying gun violence on the urban streets to gun massacres in the suburbs precisely because it is part of his "political agenda".

Another photo op designed to take rights away from citizens rather than adresss the violence problem and identify those committing the violence...

No you're wrong....The cowh and his allies in congress are doing nothing but attempting to ban certain weapons and capacity of ammo magaizines...is that it?....That will stop the violence?...Simply by making a speech...enacting laws..will do nothing to stop the violence and those committing the violence...

Stricter penalties are needed. Prison time for felons caught with a firearm. No chance of reduced charges for gun related violence. The laws need to change....for the criminals.

Correct....the justice system needs a reminder that the priority should be to protect the rights of law abiding citizens and to remove those that chose to be otherwise from society and in some cases from the face of the earth...

The gun related cases need to be held in the Federal Court....not State.

Now hear this! Obama was not the person who had anything to do with flags flying at half mast. Lurch, you usually do better with your fact checking, tisk tisk. And then of course BECAUSE IT WAS SOMETHING THE WING NUTS WANTED TO BELIEVE they went right along with it.

It was Chris Christy NOT Obama who ordered flags to be flown at half staff for Houston because she was a New Jersey native.

TRENTON, N.J. — New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie says he will order flags flown at half-staff at state government buildings Saturday in memory of Whitney Houston.

The governor says Houston was a "cultural icon" who belongs in the same category in New Jersey music history as Frank Sinatra, Count Basie and Bruce Springsteen.

He says her accomplishments were "a great source of pride for the people of the state."

Her funeral will be held the same day in her birthplace of Newark.

Where did this POS editorial duel poster comment come from? I'll be sure to avoid the site.

As we keep saying: Just because you want it to be true doesn't make it true.

Maybe what we need here is a little more critical thought?

Duel?

Maybe Obama could treat victims of crime equally and not play up the race card?
