After reading that story I'm appalled. Just unbelievable. I hope that never happens to me.

I have told this story before, but it is a good one.

When I was a Health Inspector, I had a complaint at an address on Dog Track Road and I went up to a trailer and knocked on the door.

A thirty-ish guy opened the door about half-way and sneered viciously and showed me his realistic-looking pistol... something like a 38 snub nose. Through clenched teeth, he took in a hissing breath and then said, "I ought to just KILL you." (Emphasis on KILL.)

I don't remember what I said or how quickly I got outta there, but I probably shat in my pants.

Come to find out, the guy was mentally deficient and the gun was plastic.

It was a good rush though...
