Urgent, Please read!

I need a ribbon for a Smith Corona Electra XT type writer asap.

Does anyone know where I could buy one in Pcola? Office depot, Office max type places do not have it in stock. There was a biz downtown where I bought a ribbon before but forgot the name.

Found one on ebay but figured I could find one locally. If I could find a half inch ribbon, I could slice it & add it to the spools.

Take the ribbon you have, rewind it manually and re-use it. You will still be able to type what you need. I used to do this because I had one that had a cartridge and they were expensive so I would just manually rewind and re-use it. Worked well for me.

I did that but the black is pretty worn out. Didnt help at all. How hard could it be to find a half inch ribbon here.

dip it in some ink.

I make my own typewriter ribbons out of blueberry juice from fresh blueberries that I pick in my back yard and bark that I peel from various trees in the neighborhood.
