America has to withdraw from its Trump reality tv fixation.....turn the sets off

I have not felt better in weeks turning on the tv and not hearing something stupid from Trump. If the media would just cover other subjects, then Trump become irrelevant the next two years, but the thought of the daily spewing of stupid for two more years and the same being rebroadcast is enough to cause insanity.

Sadly, after January, it's likely to get worse rather than better.

Trump's an entertainer and Americans just got to have their entertainment.   Left and Right alike await anxiously every day to see what outrageous thing he's gonna say next.  Is he a superhero or an uber-villain?  Is your team winning or the other?  Tune in tomorrow, folks and maybe you'll find out.
 
The media is more than happy to oblige you so long as it gets viewership and keeps advertising revenue up.  Love him or hate him, Fox or MSNBC, one thing they all know about Trump …. he's good for teevee ratings!

And in the meantime, at a time illegal immigration numbers are at a decades low, as Trump and the media has us all fixated on a smallish horde of invading prospective hotel maids and chicken processing plant workers and their brats, Russia decides it's the perfect time to make another move on Ukraine and it's a second or third page story.

Anyone who says Trump and the Trump phenomenon aren't deeply dangerous for America and the world, is either just plain not paying attention, or just plain ignorant.
