Roger Stone begs Trump to fire ‘insubordinate hillbilly’ Jeff Sessions in rightwing rally speech

Roger Stone spoke to a rightwing gathering called the Mother of All Rallies on Saturday.

The event, which happened on the National Mall as torrential rains pounded Washington D.C., attracted a wide swath of extremists.


That included Stone, who rattled off advice to the president.

“What the president needs to do today is very clear,” Stone said. “He should fire Jeff Sessions, send the Keebler elf, send the insubordinate hillbilly, back to Alabama.”

Stone also said that Trump is facing a do-or-die situation on the Mueller probe and has no choice but to keep pushing forward. Stone said Trump’s only option is to fire special prosecutor Robert Mueller and face the wrath.

“And then, he should fire Mr. Mueller,” Stone said. “To those who say if he does this he will be impeached—if he doesn’t do this he will be impeached.”

Hearing Republicans bashing Southerners and "hillbillies" is pretty hilarious. Who'n hell do they think their major base is?

First they wreck the farmers with all the crazy tariffs, and now "dumb Southerner" and "hillbilly" are their go-to insults. It's open contempt already.

What's next... is one of 'em going to complain about "those backward-ass Evangelical Baptards"?

I know they're feeling confident because their base is so goddamn proven-stupid-through-decades-of-rigorous-testing, and they won't hold them accountable for anything, but I'm wondering how much gettin'-pissed-on Trump's voters are gonna take?
