Surprised no one here mentioned Moonrise Kingdom. Gem of a movie, an allergory (imo) replete with every type of movie star, loved Ed Norton as the Scout Leader.

Story of young love in its most perfect and innocent state, the state of

Stunning cinematography, Wes Anderson's direction and writing is just
well, Wes Anderson. This one is worth the price they charge nowadays to
see a movie on a real big screen

long time

I saw it this summer so probably netflix. It as out a few months ago but not many carried it. This is well worth the time to watch. You will get all the retro props some I have not seen since I was a kid.

But most of all it is a love story.
