I just saw a perfect example of one of these. A commenter was pointing out the cost of her child's medical treatment...insurance and meds. The response was so predictable. Should it come from someone else's pocket? No sign of caring; just "don't make me pay for it." Period.

When people smilingly say stuff like, "That's just the way Trump is,"   "That's who he is and has always been,"  "That's just Trump being Trump," I swear it sounds as if they're convinced these 'excuses' make whatever he does/however he acts OK -- which, of course, is outrageously WRONG, and only makes THEM sound like the totally blind ignoramuses they are for rather amusedly giving an ass a pass because, after all, he's an ass, whaddya expect?
