I'm afraid you're right, Tel -- and btw Dennis Prager is one of the many right wing talk show hosts owning significant responsibility for the rift.  I try to listen to him from time to time, but when he starts spewing his spitting hatred for "the left" -- everything's the fault of "the left, the left" -- I can't stand it and just have to shut him off.   He's a "reformed" Democrat -- worse by far than a reformed smoker.  Also, like every other right wing talk show host, he's arrogant to beat the band.  Can't stand him and his extremely narrow mind.

I think Dennis has become more extreme over the years. I used to like listening to him when he was more of a moral leader. These days he really has it in for the left. I'm sorry this has happened. I wonder what happened to change his attitude? He used to be rather reasonable.

Thanks for another laugh Markle. Speaking as a strident progressive and a democrat socialist (same as Bernie Sanders) I don't want ANYONE on welfare. But the Amerika Inc. way you fascist racist white conservatives have constructed our country, with it's insidious disdain for non-Christians and anyone other than whites, the educational assets and the availability of full time fair paying jobs, are missing in the minority, poverty-ridden urban ghettos, black and brown. I agree with you that the basic problems of the folks who dominate our disgusting welfare rolls are rooted in poor education and missing employment opportunity. Our bizarre welfare systems actually foster one parent households with extra pay for extra babies.
