Neil Cavuto should be ashamed to peddle such drivel. If you take the time to go to the original interview by mitu and look at the woman who is doing the interview you will see that her name is Gina Rodriguez. She is an American born in Chicago in 1984 of Puerto Rican parents. She is quite famous for various TV roles.

This sloppy attempt to try and paint the president as saying undocumented people should vote is right up there with the absurd spin the Republicans put on his comment of "you didn't build that" in his last campaign. He was referring to infrastructure, not the individual's personal business.

Anyway Cavuto needs to run an apology for his mistake.

Here's a link to the original interview. With the bio information on Ms. Rodriguez you can hear him say to her: "when YOU vote" meaning her personally. He knows who she is and that she is a citizen.

It is really, really infuriating to see how many hours are being WASTED by serious people on this forum, researching and debunking TOTALLY PHONY information posted by TTT (especially) and others, WHEN THEY SHOULD'VE DONE THE RESEARCH THEMSELVES  before posting and wasting everyone else's valuable time.

Stupid is as stupid does. The concepts of credibility and integrity are apparently entirely beyond some people's grasp.

In the case of the initial link...it appears that Cavuto really did broadcast the clip of Obama's interview and then, and here's the crumby part, did not play enough of the interview to make it clear what the president was really saying. Cavuto then went on in a rather dramatic fashion to state a  flat out untruth about what was said.

It is this sort of garbage "reporting", (garbage in/garbage out) that undermines our ability as citizens to carry on a meaningful conversation. It is a modern day tower of Babel.  

This is intentional on the part of some political strategists.  When people are confused and upset they are easier to influence. They are more likely to swallow all sorts of misinformation or propaganda. If our elections are to work well the voters have to be well informed not just manipulated by slogans and false information. Look at how upset many right wingers are over the false issue of voter fraud after hearing so much fake information from their favorite "news" sources.

Fox News has gotten away with this for over twenty years. By feeding stupid people all the sterotypes which comport with their world view, they profit. When you look at the Dixiecrat block and their hate of the federal government, and you have hate organizations who pay folks like markle to post boilerplate propaganda. It is too funny. Mr. Markle is posting about low attendance on a VP speaking event, which is the same formula from four years ago. Attack the expanded voting as fraud, attack any candidate as a criminal, attack Muslims, Mexicans and Blacks to consolidate the Dixiecrat vote around the hate vote, and you have a formula to make money and hurt America. There are traitors among us.

Here is Lame Duck President Barack Hussein Obama telling someone who claims that because they are here...they are citizens that she can vote and no one will check.
