The Russian economy continues to fall down the GDP ratings as the ruble is hald of what it was at the peak......and President Obama with his economic sanctions has rendered Putin and Russia all but irrelevant. In regard to Syria, the historical link with Russia and the regime has not changed........as the Russians fully know we have been tacitly involved in the overthrow of the Syrian regime....we have been the aggressors intervening in a civil war and tacitly working with the Saudis and Israel.....duh.
