Eric Trump tweets wrong photo for Pensacola rally

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s son, Eric Trump, sent out a tweet Saturday morning in which hewrote,“Lookatthe#BasketofDeplorables in Pensacola Florida last night! What a horrible statement. #Crooked-Hillary” with a picture of a filled arena.

Just one problem. The picture wasn’t from Friday night’s rally at the Pensacola Bay Center. Eric Trump tweeted a picture from a September 2015 Trump rally in Dallas. He sent another tweet Saturday evening with a photo from the Bay Center. In that tweet, he wrote, “Hard to keep track these days! #What-DifferenceDoesItMake #Pensacola #CrookedHillary.”

An estimated crowd of 12,000 filled the Bay Center for Trump’s second visit to Pensacola, but that number pales in comparison to what the American Airlines Center holds. An estimated crowd of 15,000 attended his Dallas rally.

Eric Trump referenced basket of deplorables in response to Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s commentFridayatanLGBTfundraiser in New York. Clinton said half of Trump’s supporters are a “basket of deplorables.”

Clinton released a statement Saturday apologizing for the comment. She said it was “grossly generalistic, and that’s never a good idea.”

Eric Trump is just one more silver spoon.

Hillary put her foot in her mouth and skewed the message. What she should have said is: "Racism, xenophobia, homophobia, etc is deplorable. Why does Donald Trump attract these deplorable traits in some of his voters?"

The percentage is much higher.

That too is deplorable.
