Secret Ledger in Ukraine Lists Cash for Donald Trump's Campaign Chief

KIEV, Ukraine — "On a leafy side street off Independence Square in Kiev is an office used for years by Donald J. Trump’s campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, when he consulted for Ukraine’s ruling political party. His furniture and personal items were still there as recently as May.

And Mr. Manafort’s presence remains elsewhere here in the capital, where government investigators examining secret records have found his name, as well as companies he sought business with, as they try to untangle a corrupt network they say was used to loot Ukrainian assets and influence elections during the administration of Mr. Manafort’s main client, former President Viktor F. Yanukovych.

Handwritten ledgers show $12.7 million in undisclosed cash payments designated for Mr. Manafort from Mr. Yanukovych’s pro-Russian political party from 2007 to 2012, according to Ukraine’s newly formed National Anti-Corruption Bureau. Investigators assert that the disbursements were part of an illegal off-the-books system whose recipients also included election officials.

In addition, criminal prosecutors are investigating a group of offshore shell companies that helped members of Mr. Yanukovych’s inner circle finance their lavish lifestyles, including a palatial presidential residence with a private zoo, golf course and tennis court. Among the hundreds of murky transactions these companies engaged in was an $18 million deal to sell Ukrainian cable television assets to a partnership put together by Mr. Manafort and a Russian oligarch, Oleg Deripaska, a close ally of President Vladimir V. Putin..."

These allegations make the non disclosure of Trump's tax returns more suspicious, but certainly not surprising. American politicians in Congress have for centuries been bought off for special interests, and certainly when 47 senators commit treason because of foreign influence, we should not be surprised a Presidential candidate wants to destroy Nato and become buddy buddy with Putin. When you have a huckster who has cheated people his entire career, why would we expect the same person to change his ways.

Those pesky folks over there want to seriously interfere with our poor choice of candidates even using a campaign manager who wasn't a campaign manager all those years ago. And lets not forget this, something really needs to be done about these shenanigans.

Among the agencies that eventually signed off was the State Department, then headed by Mr. Clinton’s wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton.

As the Russians gradually assumed control of Uranium One in three separate transactions from 2009 to 2013, Canadian records show, a flow of cash made its way to the Clinton Foundation. Uranium One’s chairman used his family foundation to make four donations totaling $2.35 million. Those contributions were not publicly disclosed by the Clintons, despite an agreement Mrs. Clinton had struck with the Obama White House to publicly identify all donors. Other people with ties to the company made donations as well.

And shortly after the Russians announced their intention to acquire a majority stake in Uranium One, Mr. Clinton received $500,000 for a Moscow speech from a Russian investment bank with links to the Kremlin that was promoting Uranium One stock."

So what's your point? What's that got to do with this? Everyone should know by now it would be much easier to list anything he said (if anything) as "true" than trot out all the lies.

But do the best you can sport. It's over for Trump but this story as someone on here likes to say - is a nothing burger.

You do not have a single piece of evidence.............wow....Wallace nailed him. A Fox Journalist called out a Breitbart hit job, where the main stream media gave this guy a pass.......Zilch......and the best Part is Wallace called his BS out. He stated Hillary was one person on a multi agency committee which gave the approval......9 members voting who approved the transfer.

However, the funniest part of this whole made up controversy is the idea that uranium is scarce in the United States, and that a foreign nation mining on our soil reserves of 20% is a strategic threat to America......you have to be pretty special stupid to not understand our uranium reserves and to think this was a strategic sale. It tells me all I need to know about anybody who bought into this how easily simple minds can be led around by propaganda without engaging their brains. Incredible.

The hilarious part is that these for profit nut job organizations take away from legitimate issue oriented debate. The make money being more sensational, and the American public has gotten wise now going on three Presidential cycles.....you would think a guy like George Will who actually has incredible pointed criticism of Hillary would be headlining for the Republicans, but this legitimate journalist just tossed his Republican credentials when Trump and Breitbart became the beacon for the Republican Party.......one more election and one more huge fail for Mr. Markle and his folks.
