Her mother passed three years ago and the run up to her death for a couple years was her mother's personality drastically changing with her repeating herself, saying mean things, getting more erratic, and particularly at night she would get vicious and would attack her son, and other people. The doctors called this a step in dementia and it was called sundowners syndrome.

My wife a month ago said that Trump was behaving like her mother. I laughed and said she had something. Apparently Morning Joe was talking about how Trump gets goofy when speaking late on the campaign trail. I cannot wait to see where this goes. I think health care professionals will be lighting the discussion boards up.

Sundown syndrome is a term that describes the onset of confusion and agitation that generally affects people with dementia or cognitive impairment and usually strikes around sunset.
