Firstly,  it would be best to just totally tune out of this campaign.  Never has anything been so much ado about nothing.  Turn of the wrestling shows on cable news tv.  Forget the debates.  It's nothing but emotional ranting that serves nothing in the way of any worthwhile purpose.  It's nothing but lies,  exaggeration,  spin, deceit,  hidden agendas, out of control egos,  alterior motives,  crookedness,  media profits,  schoolyard brawls and more lies on top of the other lies.  It has no redeeming value of any kind.
Same with all the ultra partisan internet "news" websites which are nothing but clones of the worthless crap seen on cable news.
And I mean all of it and that includes the so-called liberal and the so-called conservative nonsense both.
In other words,  ignore all that and go on with your lives until election day.

Now,  how to vote.
You vote the Democrat for President and vote Republicans on the down ticket.  OR,  you vote the pretend Republican for President and vote Democrats on the down ticket.

Here's why.  Unfortunately our government is now totally dysfunctional and becoming more dysfunctional by the day.
The absolute worst outcome is either Trump as the President with a Republican congress,  or Hillary as President with a Democrat congress.
The best outcome is to attempt to neuter this government and keep it from making any decisions whatsoever.  And that happens when Trump faces a democrat congress or Hillary faces a republican congress.

Right now our best option is to try to keep as much power out of the hands of all these people as we the electorate are capable of doing.  And I think this represents our best option.

The Trump campaign was doomed even before yesterday. They just cant take the White House without a Bush on the ticket. That's just a fact.

Good point and I agree.  It looks like the republicans can only win the Presidency with a bush and the democrats with a clinton.
SO,  now the important thing is to be sure and vote republicans on the down ticket. That should protect us at least for the next two years.

Clinton, Obama and Carter. Republicans only Bush.

Yea but after all this silly campaign has ended,  the score will change.
Two Bushes
Two Clintons

The question is which one will be next?  Chelsea?  Jenna?  Or Barbara Jr.
My guess is Jenna because her gig on the Today show gives her better exposure.
Of course I can't rule out that Bush nephew either.  The one who sided up with Trump and against his daddy to help him get the Texas governor's job.  He could duplicate the path of his uncle to the White House.

We could go back to the early fifties and check out the names on the winning Presidential tickets, lets see.

Dems: Obama, Clinton, Carter, LBJ, JFK.

GOP: Bush, Nixon. And lately there isn't a Nixon to kick around any more.

What happened to Ike and Ronnie? lol

I totally disagree, Bob. If you are going to put either a Dem or Rep in the White House then give them the whole ticket. Let's just give it all to either party and see where we go.

The elevation of Donald J. Trump is the culmination of over thirty years of Republican derangement.

If even this is not enough to convince you that there is only one party still interested in effective and responsible governance, well then ....

.... I guess we have to blame the Escambia County public schools.

I agree, this will be the first time in my life I have decided to vote a straight democratic ticket. I have always mixed it up and have only voted for two democrats for President. Well I am voting for Rebekah for congress so only one Republican.

If I'm an ignorant, thoughtless,  brainwashed member of the worst generation ever,  don't blame the schools.
I skipped classes all the time and even when I was in the classrooms my mind was a million miles away.  I didn't even graduate with the rest of my peers. I had to attend summer school after that to get my diploma.
So enough about the fucking schools.  They're innocent.  lol

I just finished watching another interview with Gary Johnson.
Every time I do this I get more and more impressed with him and his ideas and his whole outlook on things.
So I'm going to abandon the stupid strategy outlined in this thread and vote for someone I would really like to have as our President.

Of course that makes me be even dumber because Sal and seaoat have spoketh about voting for anything except Hillary.
But you know what, fucketh Sal and fucketh seaoat. lol

In other words, I'm going into that McDonalds and ignoring the shit sandwich and the snot burger which McDonalds is pushing the hardest because they make the most profit off of it. And instead I've decided to go for a large order of french fries. Those don't leave a bad taste in my mouth.

I like Gary Johnson and told you I probably would vote for him but in the past few weeks have changed my mind. It's not something one or the other said it's the fact he just isn't polling well and has no big backer's or msm behind him to get more exposure. If the RNC had any balls they'd drop Trump and ask Gary to run as Republican then it's a whole new ball game.

Exactly! Bush was on Ronnie's ticket. Nixon was on Ike's ticket. Bush and Nixon since 1952. They can't win the White House without those two names and they won't win the White House this time without them. LOL

I also voted for Rebekah in the primary. Screw Evers and Gaetz. Those two have bent over backwards to kiss-up to the Panhandle GOP base.

She has made the national debt one of her most important issues.

I voted for Johnson in 2008. I will follow ppca's route this election cycle.

Read this before you promote Gary Johnson...or think of voting for him.

Thanks for sending me this,  Tex.  Gosh,  I didn't know about this...

As the first stimulus bill was being debated, Lacy and Brown announced another smear project, ExposeHarry.com, aimed at weakening Nevada Sen. Harry Reid’s support and turning voters against him in time for the 2010 elections. To understand where Harry Reid was most vulnerable, they hired a Republican polling firm out of Salt Lake City. That polling firm, NSON Opinion Research, is the same polling outfit whose offices serve as Gary Johnson’s Libertarian Party presidential campaign headquarters, and whose founder, Ron Nielson, is Gary Johnson’s campaign chief.

That clinches it for me.  Trying to get rid of Harry Reid was an act of virtue.  lol

Seriously,  this is no more than some blogger nobody ever heard of who is about the most long-winded blogger I've ever encountered.  He goes on and on and on and on and offers nothing except guilt by association.
I know you're totally convinced the Clintons have never associated with anyone except Mother Theresa.  So I'm not even going to bother to try to convince you what reality is.  lol
