Try Trump.

You know the game is lost when Hitler (fascists) are brought in as a defense, lol. There is no doubt that Trump followers are attracted to his campaign because they crave a "strong leader"; they are authoritarians. They mouth the word "freedom" but at the same time long for a leader who will handle all the problems with a very firm hand.

Political decisions at the voter level are influenced by emotion as much as by logic so you see hard working blue collar workers claiming the Trump is just like them, really?

The Democrats are asking us to come together to deal with problems. This is the farthest thing from being a Natzi.

Ironically it may well be Trump's connections to Russia and Putin that finally turn voters against him.

Point and laugh everybody, point and laugh ...

... our glibertarian hero wants to pretend that the garish lout who has incited his followers to physically assault protestors, who has proposed barring from entering the United States people who practice a certain religion, who has said women who seek abortions should be punished, who would like to round up and deport millions of hardworking residents, who has advocated even more sadistic torture techniques, who has threatened to persecute journalists for exercising the First Amendment, who openly encouraged foreign adversaries to conduct cyber warfare and espionage against political opponents, and on and on and on, ad infinitum ...

... is not an authoritarian ...

Point ... and ... laugh.

It's just demagoguery that he'd be able to break up families where the illegal immigrant parents that are not breaking laws and are productive could be deported. That won't happen... though it's the law. The correct course is for Congress to adjust the law... and then that law be enforced once and for all. It's wrong thinking that in this modern day that the border can't be secured and a sensible yet comprehensive vetting of immigrants and visas be implemented. Stop being so dramatic. We get it... you've accepted the dogma that Trump is the anti Christ. Congratulations comrade.

So, he was just being sarcastic?

Trump is mainstreaming virulent hate, intolerance, and bigotry to a whole new generation of Americans.

Congratulations on excusing, and thus enabling, his despicable behavior.

The fascist of Germany were very careful to make laws which complied with their agenda. Who was a citizen with full rights, who was not......religious tests, and suppression of the press and democracy. Please take the minor league intellectual discussions to Pace......I am sure some kids huffing glue in the theater will get what you are saying......Understand how our immigration laws changed to reflect fascism in the 1920s......understand the hell the world had to endure thereafter when such hate is not challenged and defeated at the polls. Sorry, evil is definable. We do not need somebody to interpret well established concepts developed in Political Science, any more than we need somebody to argue the world is 6k years old, and that the earth is flat. Propaganda and manipulation of the truth is a required first step in fascism........the truth however remains, and good people remain. Evil will be defeated.

"Critics may declare President Obama soft on immigration, but as this Reuters graphic shows, according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) data the Department of Homeland Security deported 414,481 people in fiscal year 2014, down from 438,421 the year before. Each year of the Obama administration has seen more deportations than any preceding president; the pre-Obama high of 358,886 removals in FY2008 came during President George W. Bush’s last full fiscal year in office."

Shows how much you know, Pkr.

No... it shows how little you know.  The rules for counting deportations was changed under Obama.  Even Obama explained that fact when asked... not that it helped seagoat understand it.  Is that you too... or can you believe reality.

http://thehill.com/policy/technology/184393-obama-calls-for-pathway-to-citizenship-in-online-talk

President Obama said statistics that show his administration is on track to deport more illegal immigrants than the Bush administration are misleading.

“The statistics are a little deceptive,” he said Wednesday in an online discussion aimed at Hispanic voters.

Obama explained that enhanced border security has led to Border Patrol agents arresting more people as they cross into the country illegally. Those people are quickly sent back to their countries, but are counted as deported illegal immigrants.
He said his administration has focused on deporting illegal immigrants who have committed violent crimes.

“Our enforcement priority is not to chase down young people who are following all the other laws,” he said.

The online talk was hosted by Yahoo, MSN Latino and AOL Latino/Huffington Post Latino Voice. Users submitted their questions online for the president.

Obama renewed his call to provide a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants.
“We are a nation of laws, but we are also a nation of immigrants,” he said, adding that illegal immigrants applying for citizenship will have to meet a series of requirements, likely including paying a fine or learning English.

Critics of a pathway to citizenship decry it as amnesty for immigrants who have broken the law.

The president acknowledged that the chance of pushing comprehensive immigration reform through a Republican-controlled House is slim.

“Our key approach is trying to push Republicans back to where they were only a few years ago,” he said.

When Obama was asked for his thoughts on the eventual Republican presidential nominee possibly choosing Hispanic Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) as his or her running mate, the president said: “I am absolutely certain that within my lifetime we will have a Latino candidate for president who will be competitive and might even win.”

The event was Obama’s latest effort to engage the public online, but his first Hispanic-focused online event. He participated in a Twitter town hall in July, a Facebook town hall in April and a LinkedIn town hall earlier this week.

Oh I absolutely agree with him about this one. When anyone living in this country is in favor of having a religious book (any religious book) be the basis of all it's laws and all aspects of day-to-day life, including politics, economics, banking, business law, contract law, sexuality, and social issues, then I want those traitors the fuck out of here. Anyone who wants that sharia monstrosity DEFINITELY does not accept the American Constitution.
Yes the First Amendment does protect ALL religions including Islam. BUT it doesn't give anyone the right to be treasonous.

By the way,  2seaoat,  before you respond by calling me an ignorant, southern, cracker, trump loving, goober racist;  you'll have to tell Bill Maher that's what he is too.  Because Maher despises that sharia nonsense as much as I do.  lol

Bill did not get educated in Escambia County, and would never call somebody a R head, or talk with such denigration about Mexicans. Perhaps you can tell Mr. Kahn about how he is not an American and how he should be deported. Sorry, you are a fascist, and trying to find equivalency in your views does not buffer yourself from that self evident truth.

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."
President Theodore Roosevelt 1907

Actually, the Germans would love a leader like trump who would stop the invasion of military aged males into their nation given the terrorism plaguing Western Europe to include Germany.

The Germans want a US president who will stand behind the nation's commitment to NATO and not roll out the red carpet in Eastern Europe for Putin.

I'm not going to call you ignorant, Bob,  but I am going to agree with others that a religious litmus test in this country is unconstitutional.   Anyone can believe in anything he/she wants as long as it isn't acted upon in violation of our laws -- and that includes atheists, snake charmers, those who talk in tongues, and satanic cults, among others.   Who will draw the line on which are to be deported??  BELIEF is NOT a constitutional measure of a person's fitness to dwell in this land of the free.

That said, do I hate Sharia law?  I'm a woman!  You bet I do!  But do I have absolute confidence that our laws will never allow the practice of all its tenets here?  You bet again -- though installing a Donald Trump at the helm is the LAST thing that will help guarantee the continuation of our culture and values.

Look, Bob, I'm just going to say one more thing that's been on my mind here.   You and I both decry WEBY and the horrible "Reverend" Carl Gallups.  But when you support the policies of a bigot like Trump -- a similar soul to Gallups' beloved Sheriff Arpaio --  you are not being true to yourself, or at least to the self I thought you were.  Maybe I was wrong all along.

But for Pete's sake, Bob, a vote for Trump is an acceptance of the tiny-minded WEBY way of thinking in every respect except that it's not couched in god talk.  Don't you see that????  Please think before you vote.
