I've been trying for years to tell the folks on this forum that today's ridiculous excuse for politics and politicians is nothing but wrastlin and they wouldn't believe it.

Telstar,  are you familiar with Mike Judge's movie "Idiocracy" which tells the story of a professional wrastler becoming President of the United States in the future?

Unfortunately Judge got one part of that wrong.  His movie story is set 1000 years in the future.  But in the real world,  the wrastlin has taken over politics only 10 years after the movie was made.  lol

Trump impersonated Trump Enterprises public relations officials under false names to paint glowing portraits of himself for reporters. The Post story says that Trump himself called writers from various publications, including People magazine, to extol his own virtues while posing as at least two fictitious Trump Enterprises employees: John Barron and John Miller.

However, emails received by media outlets Friday from Barron and Miller establish that they are in fact actual persons and suggest that the Post story constitutes libel against Trump.

“Donald Trump is a tremendous guy who built a terrific company that employs thousands and thousands of people,” wrote John Barron, who said he is the PR specialist who spoke to the People reporter. “He’s a smart guy who is very rich and went to the very best schools, okay? He will win bigly in November, and then America will win so much you’ll get tired of winning.”

The email from John Barron was sent from a newly created Gmail account registered under the username “bighands1946,” which checks out as legitimate. Seconds after the Barron email was received, media outlets received an email from John Miller, the other publicity specialist mentioned in the Post story.

“Only a low-energy loser would say Donald Trump pretended to be someone else,” Miller said. “Trump is a tremendous person, a self-made man who took a small $1 million loan from his father and built it into a yooodge company. All three of his wives are beauty-full, so forget about it. And his daughter is so hot maybe he’d be banging her if he wasn’t her father, okay?”

The email from Miller emanated from a new Yahoo account registered to user “1946longfingers,” which appears to be a legitimate account.

The communications from Barron and Miller obviously put an end to the controversy The Washington Post article provoked, so responsible news organizations are advised to focus instead on Hillary Clinton’s impending indictment by the FBI and the Obama administration’s ongoing persecution of white people.

I don't think both sides are identical.  I think both sides are fucked up.

I really think this latest thing could be Trump's undoing.  
It's bad enough that he pretended to be someone else telling a reporter what a stud Donald Trump was.  But that isn't that the thing that makes him lose all his credibility.
That happens when the voice is obviously his voice and he has admitted it was his voice and apologized for doing it in the past,  BUT NOW he's claiming it aint his voice.
That's when he loses ANY and ALL credibility.  And this time I think even Billy Graham and Phil Robertson will have a problem with it.  At least I hope so.
Because if they don't,  then they've lost ANY and ALL of their credibility as well.

He is indeed a sicko. Look at what he said about this on the Today Show last Friday 13th. He contradicts himself in one sentence. How can he have an opinion about this taped interview, how can he know nothing about it, how can he be hearing this for the first time and yet deny that it is his voice especially considering that under oath he admitted that it was him on the phone. Good grief all mighty are his followers so blind and so upset that they would vote for him?

I think he set this whole thing up to be the news story of the day because things were getting too hot around people calling for him to release his taxes, which will show he is not as rich as he claims or that he pays no taxes because he is in real estate or some other thing that even his core supporters will throw him under the bus on. But then he said he could shoot someone on 5th avenue and would still not lose voters, go figure.

"No, I don't know anything about it. You're telling me about it for the first time and it doesn't sound like my voice at all," he told TODAY Friday about a Washington Post article saying Trump gave interviews while posing as a spokesman, sometimes named John Miller and at other times, John Barron.
