Another reason why immigration reform is so necessary.

Immigration reform would never have been an issue with those guys if they had made an effort to become citizens while in uniform. I served with folks who became citizens while in the service, it was common knowledge that the system was available and it worked.

It may also have helped at least some of them if they hadn't gone around committing crimes, you know like abusing drugs and shooting guns at folks.
