I basically detest football (I know, I know, sacrilege in NW FL), but my step-son lives in the Charlotte area and is of course rooting for the Panthers, so that's my choice, too. I'll only watch the game for the commercials and an excuse to make my turkey macaroni chili. My husband is only slightly more interested than I am, and I do mean slightly.

I would really like to see Manning win another SB before he retires, but I really didn't think Denver stood a chance on Sunday.
I feel much better now.

My prediction is that about an equal number of Denver and Carolina players in this Super Bowl will end up with chronic traumatic encephalopathy.
And the ones who do will say it's worth it because of all the fame and adulation and money they receive.
